Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to ResumeHumanizer, a service that scores resumes for ATS compatibility and AI-detection risk and rewrites them to read like a human wrote them. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Use of the Service

ResumeHumanizer lets you upload, paste, or import a resume; receive an ATS Score and an AI-detection assessment; answer a short set of questions; and generate humanized resume versions you can download. You agree to use the service in accordance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

User Accounts and Registration

1. Account Creation: To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, including when signing in with a third-party provider such as Google.

2. Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

Your Content and Responsibilities

1. Ownership: You retain ownership of the resume content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you.

2. Accuracy and Honesty: ResumeHumanizer is designed to reword and clarify your real experience, not to fabricate it. You are solely responsible for the truthfulness of your resume. You must not use the service to misrepresent your qualifications, identity, or history. AI-detection and ATS scores are estimates and are not guarantees of any hiring, interview, or screening outcome.

3. Permitted Use: You agree not to upload content you do not have the right to use, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service.

Credits, Payments, and Refunds

Some features require credits or a paid plan. Prices and what each plan includes are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, fees are non-refundable once a credit has been consumed to generate output.

Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party providers (including AI/LLM providers and, where enabled, an AI-detection provider) to process resume text. Your use of the service is also subject to those providers' processing on our behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service, including any score or rewrite, and disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeHumanizer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResumeHumanizer, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ResumeHumanizer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of the service after changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
